"I’m done": Florida mom gives birth to 13-pound baby

As Christine Corbitt fast approached her due date, her stomach was certainly big.

“Towards a finish of my pregnancy, we was like, ‘Oh my gosh. She’s only so huge,'” Corbitt told CBS associate WJAX.

Indeed, Carleigh Brooke Corbitt was huge. At 13 pounds, 5 ounces, she was a largest baby Dr. Eric Edelenbos has ever delivered.

“When a baby was entrance out, we was like, ‘Is this baby ever going to end?’ Everybody in a room kind of only stopped during a smoothness and was like, ‘Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh,'” Edelenbos said.

At mom and baby’s three-week checkup in Orange Park, Florida, Carleigh was embellished out in pinkish and white and seemed happy and healthy, yet she struggled with gestational diabetes early on.

Corbitt is used to carrying large babies. “I’ve had nine- and 10-pound babies and we figured maybe she’d be 10 pounds. I’d have another 10-pound baby, though she was a surprise,” she said.

Carleigh had to stay in a NICU for a bit while her blood sugarine levels were checked and she got a all-clear.

As for Corbitt, she skeleton on holding some much-needed rest — for good this time.

“I’m done. I’m done. No some-more babies for me,” she pronounced with a smile.
