Arduino developers get additional support as Codeanywhere acquires Codebender

Codeanywhere, a cranky height cloud IDE for formulating web apps and sites has acquired Codebender, another cloud IDE that enables users to rise for Arduino devices. This is Codeanywhere’s initial merger and financial terms of a transaction were not disclosed.

Codebender and a additional services and will continue to work and be upheld by Codeanywhere, and turn tier one offerings of Codeanywhere, Inc. Together Codeanywhere and Codeanywhere will now have over 1M users on a platform.

HQ’d in Palo Alto, Codeanywhere has lifted $848k in 3 rounds from 7 investors and creatively emerged from tech-savvy Croatia. It competes with Codenvy that lifted $9M and was acquired by RedHat in May this year, and cloud9ide that lifted $6.3M and was acquired by Amazon final year. So clearly Codeanywhere is now well-positioned.

Founded in 2013 in Greece, Codebender has lifted over $1M in collateral and has captivated about 100,000 users and some-more than 300,000 projects are hosted in a platform, creation it one of a biggest communities and formula repositories of a Arduino ecosystem.
